Supporting St. John's

We would love to see St. John's reach another 100 years on Humberside Ave.  St. John's is facing many challenges and needs everyone's help to revitalize and continue in its current home.

Why become involved or offer support?  To keep a flexible, warm, colourful, and welcoming community space available in our area for all to share for community gatherings; musical and arts activities; children; youth and family activities; social justice initiatives including offering food for the needy; vaccine clinics, and much more!  To also support a spiritual community that continues to welcome everyone.

There are many ways to help:

  • Coming out to St. John's community events and sharing these with neighbours and friends;

  • Dropping in on one of our weekly services;

  • Contributing financial assistance to help address the costs of maintaining our aging building;

  • Volunteering to assist us with seeking out and managing rentals, including working with the film industry, and volunteering to help organize fundraising; and/or

  • Providing financial support to kickstart a large scale fundraising campaign.

Through helping St. John's, there are opportunities to meet new people, build connections with neighbours, develop new skills, and have lots of fun!
