The meeting was very moving. Bishop Kevin Robertson, along with the Reverend Don Byers, Assistant Curate Hannah Johnston , Toronto Councillor Alejandro Bravo (Ward 9, Davenport) and MPP Marit Stiles (NDP, Davenport), and Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow, spoke about the way forward for St. Anne’s.
The crowd joined in the singing of “Amazing Grace” and other hymns. Reverend Hannah’s reading of First Corinthians 13 was particularly moving and drew the crowd together in prayer and hope. As she read:
