The community of St. John's is inexplicably linked through ministry, outreach, events, and resources. One cannot fully exist without the other. It is a reciprocal relationship - between the parishioners, the building, and the greater community. All working together for mutual benefit. We must keep our arms and doors open, in order to feed our beloved space and allow it to grow and blossom into the future. This is a future that is visible and desired. In the last few months, with new leadership and bold ideas, our community has been growing. With those who have been returning to worship, to attend our potlucks and concerts, to shop at our craft sale, to dance with me weekly and jam with me monthly, new connections are being made every day. These fresh voices are adding to the nourishment of the space, and they want it to grow and thrive. The partnership of the community with the ministry of the parish is integral to the beauty and success of St. John's.
